Included in this kit are Australian red lentils along with all the spices and flavouring herbs to create authentic Sri Lankan spiced red lentils, otherwise known as paripoo or dhal. A tapestry of flavour is created with the use of locally harvested lemongrass, curry leaves and rampe, cinnamon, dried red chilli , brown mustard seeds and a lightly toasted fragrant spice blend.
